ACC Distribution’s revenue grows as it focuses on the Baltics

ACC Distribution, a wholesaler of electronic devices, had consolidated revenue of EUR 241 million in 2019 and generated a consolidated net profit of EUR 960,000.
Last year, the company generated EUR 3 in revenue million or 1.4% more than the previous year (EUR 238 million). In 2018, the company made a loss.
“We have been working hard over the past few years on a steady exit from the Eastern markets – we plan to complete this process this year and continue to focus on the Baltic countries and look for new expansion opportunities in other European regions. The IT equipment categories will remain our main priority in the Baltic market. ACC Distribution’s revenue grew by more than 5% last year, with a market share of 20-30% in different device categories. The Baltic countries saw solid growth in the business solutions category last year, with servers and data storage growing by more than 20%, and commercial displays and their accessories by 30%,” said Žymantas Baušys, CEO of ACC Distribution, in the press release.
According to him, the electronics sector will likely contract in 2020, despite a successful first half of the year.
“We are forecasting that our revenue may also decline this year. It is difficult to estimate how much it will decrease, as it will depend on the economic slowdown, the general market uncertainty, and changing market trends,” said Ž. Baušys.
ACC Distribution is one of the largest companies in the ACME Group. Currently, ACC Distribution employs over 250 people in all ACC Distribution Group companies, serving more than 4,000 customers in Lithuania, Latvia, Estonia and Kaliningrad.
According to last year’s report of the State Enterprise Centre of Registers, at the end of 2018, ACC Distribution had 291 employees.
